Activities that soothe the mind

There is always that one hobby that helps with more than we can understand. The activity is something we enjoy doing and look towards it when we are stressed, overwhelmed, depressed, sad, anxious…etc. For me it is organizing- I can organize anything in the house and hope it stays that way and feel better.

Others may cook, bake, clean, go to the gym, write, play with their pets or talk with their loved ones. Whatever the activity is when you start to feel any emotion- turn to this activity! It not only soothes your mind, but you feel accomplished after doing it. Or perhaps like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
